HANDS-ON PRACTICE CLAMP DYEING WORK WORKSHOP
About the Event:
The Hands-on Practice Clamp Dyeing Work Workshop, organized by the Amity School of Fashion Technology, is an immersive learning experience focused on traditional textile art and surface design. Based on the theme “Winter Clamp Craft, ” the workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of clamp dyeing, a resist dyeing technique known for creating distinctive patterns and textures on fabric. Students will learn essential fabric folding and binding methods, explore traditional dyeing processes, and experiment with wooden blocks to develop unique designs. Emphasizing practical learning, the workshop provides extensive hands-on practice, allowing participants to create their own dyed fabric pieces to take home.
