About the Event:

“Microbe to Market” is a dynamic departmental idea-pitching event organized by AIMT, AUR, aimed at bridging the gap between microbiological science and entrepreneurial innovation. Centered on the theme “The Invisible Entrepreneurs: Unlocking the Business Potential of the Microbiome”, the event invites participants to explore how microorganisms can be transformed into impactful, market ready solutions. Students will pitch original start-up ideas based on specific microbiological applications across fields such as healthcare, agriculture, environment, food technology, and biotechnology. The event encourages scientific thinking, creativity, and business acumen by challenging participants to identify real-world problems and propose viable, sustainable solutions powered by microbial science.
